TV Storage Options {Hopefully You Approve!}

Apologies my posts are sometimes erratic - as some of you know, I am currently in the process of redecorating TWO houses (one in New Orleans and one on Cape Cod), which can be done in tandem but not simultaneously, plus I am thrilled that the business is so busy, and yes I'm also aware that I also need to get my Shop page working! So it's all on the list, and of course it's also Summer, which is actually okay as I am not in "vacation mode" this summer.

Not that I don't love summer vacations - they are one of my favorite things. SUMMER is actually a verb for me, as is true for many of us who play certain sports, and I had some marvelous trips last year. I summered very well last year, and it was fantastic, but here I am rambling in this post, when what I really wanted to do was give a bit of an update on what's going on in my own houses and how I'm managing it all. One issue is the matter of paint colors, as I've never been making so many color choices all at the same time, while trying to use as much of my own furniture as appropriate in both spaces, and honestly if I had me as a client I would probably end the contract LOL! No but for real. Almost all of my furniture is dark wood antiques, which I do adore, but I'm also trying to push my own boundaries a bit. Anyway, for the Cape house, I may have actually committed to a purchase.

Samsung 32-Inch "The Frame" QLED HDR Smart TV

Yes, all, that is the Samsung 32-Inch "The Frame" QLED HDR Smart TV (Van Gogh artwork included!), bought "renewed" on Amazon.

Which brings me to TV storage ...

I would love to put a TV in the Zentique Donald Cabinet some day, but I don't think I currently have the wall space in either living room ...

Zentique Donald Cabinet

Zentique Donald Cabinet

Of course the inevitable question when using a cabinet for TV storage, as many have pointed out, is what to do with the rest of the shelf space? At a minimum, in this case, the center doors have to be open, so what would I put on those top and bottom center shelves anyway?

Ever so grateful to those who have helped me think this through, and the solution seems to be that when I do the Zentique Donald someday, I almost certainly will put the TV on top of an (inexpensive) attractive bureau, inside the cabinet.

Pottery Barn

It will most likely be an attractive piece like this (if available at the nearby Pottery Barn Outlet at a good sale price) or, if I must, an Ikea piece with O'verlays, but no time to get into all that now, as I am as I said, frantically busy!

XOXOX,
