Sometimes I discover a place that is such a striking stunner that it never fails to astound me, such as the Marbella Club. It feels so organic, but I'm certain each component was carefully chosen, including the ones I relish: eclectic Pierre Frey fabrics and a tropical and Moorish palette grounded by natural materials. The string of farmhouses converted to bohemian bungalows epitomizes upscale Marbella escapism and is pretty close to flawless. Please enjoy this handsome destination in Marbella, Spain.
I salivate over the layered textures, terracotta palette, and the three-dimensional wall coverings which always add such an opulent vibe.
The French Provincial wallpaper in this space is a revelation, as I would not normally favor this type of pattern, but here it not only works, it creates a cozy space perfect for people like me who love to talk, making this room possibly my favorite of all ... in a sea of favorites here!
Someday the world will be rid of the monstrosity of upper kitchen cabinets. I still have and need them, but may there please be fewer in all of our lives ...
Note how the architectural detailing and use of a canopy bed and raised curtain rod here solves what could otherwise be the problem of a too-high ceiling.
Happy Thursday!
