Since my post about raving about those marvelous Chanel gold chain necklaces, I have a less than thrilled follow up about all the knockers Saint Laurent sent down the runway for fall 2024.. I'm not sure what woman Anthony Vaccarello thinks is going to wear a pantyhose dress and/or find that much transparency even remotely empowering, but I did like his other use of pantyhose: wrapping them into surprisingly pleasing swimcap-like headbands, the simplicity of which grabbed my eye in the same way as the chic black bows from Pier Paolo Lai in Giambattista Valli's spring 2024 couture collection. The monochrome Saint Laurent looks, preposterously bare clothing aside, are the kind of sophisticated ensemble often seen in Wendy's Look Book, which I adore, although I do not think I personally will be wearing a nylon beanie in New Orleans any time soon...
