Latticework Ceiling

This good-looking room is the Bedroom produced by Jacksonville interior designer Phoebe Howard for Kips Bay's Palm Beach Show House, which is an excellent exemplar of Chinoiserie converging with romance in quite an English way. I take great pleasure in the color palette Howard chose of saxe blue, white, gunmetal, and caramel, which maintains the grace and tranquility of this dramatically scaled suite. The pagoda objet is nice-looking, and my best-loved part is the latticework on the ceiling. A translation of this look in a dining room would be magnificent.
